Platform

Games like Super Mario are platform games. Users jump from platform to platform, collect power ups and achieve a high score.

  • Level Management: The player can advance levels, such as 1, 2, 3. Levels can become more difficult and scroll in all 4 directions.

Shooter

Games like Space Invaders are shooter games. Users control a character and shoot at enemies to beat the game. JMA's BalloonShooter game has these features:

  • High Scores: Get high scores by shooting different color balloons
  • Player Lives: Players lives get decremented and there is a game over screen.
  • Options: Set difficulty level and sound settings.
  • Sound Effects and Music: Pop a balloon and hear explosions, if the player dies
  • Controls: Use keyboard, game pad and phone to control your player.

Almost everyone who has a computer has a PC. JMA's gaming software is compatible with PCs and can be distributed online. No CDs, boxes, or paper instruction manuals are necessary.

Xbox

With over 20 million XBOX users, users can easily play games on their existing system. JMA would set up the game pad controls and set up distribution on the marketplace.

Windows Phone 7

As an up and coming technology, Windows Phone 7 (WP7) games allow users to play their games on the go. WP7 games can connect to the internet to find extra players and do high scores.
